Going No Contact | Interview with Shannon Savoy | Daughters Healing from Narcissistic Abuse
Narcissistic Parents | The Deadly Duo of Jezebel & Ahab
If you missed it, watch the replay on Narcissistic Parents: The Deadly Duo of Jezebel & Ahab. This leads right into the conversation with Dani Ellison of Ellison INK. Details below.
What are a few signs of a narcissistic parent?
- Narcissistic parents are not capable of unconditional love. A child is not loved for just being themselves but for what they do for the family or how good they make the parents look.
- They infantile or parentify their children & assign the child(ren) roles based on the child & their abilities, looks, or talents. They feel threatened by their own offspring.
- They lack emotional support & have a lack of empathy and are emotionally neglectful. If their child brings an issue to them, only their point of view matters.
- They take little or no accountability for their lives & play the victim to situations they create while blaming others.
- Whether passive-aggressive or overt, they use superficial charm, victimhood, guilt, shame, & condemnation, money, etc., to control & coerce.
- Remember you are not your parents. You can heal, validate, & reparent yourself.
