After graduating at the young age of 17, Jensen Beach, Florida native, Dr. E. Laura Porter, joined the United States Army. During her service, she met Steven Porter, whom she married on January 16th of 1990. Five days later, the couple surrendered their lives to Christ and made a lifetime commitment to serving the Lord. They have two beautiful children, Steven and Stephanie, and a lovely daughter-in-law whom she loves, Ivana. Dr. Porter openly thanks and praises God for her husband and children as they are genuinely her gifts from God.

Born and raised in Jensen Beach, Florida. After graduating high school at the age of 17, she joined the United States Army. It was during this service, she would meet a man by the name of Steven Porter who would later lead her to Christ. On January 16, 1990 the two married and vowed a lifetime commitment to each other. Five days later on January 21, 1990, they both surrendered their lives and made a Lifetime commitment to serve the Lord.

They have two wonderful children; she so lovingly refers to them as her “DB” and her “Big Pretty” Steven Benard Porter, Jr. and Stephanie Shalom Porter. She openly thanks and praises God for her husband and children; truly they are her personal gifts from God.
