Dating or marrying a narcissist is a SYMPTOM of a much bigger ROOT issue. In narcissistic families, codependency, secrecy, shaming, hyper-criticism, betrayal, instability, addictions, disorders, sexual, financial, emotional, & psychological abuse run rampant. Family members are emotionally fused in an unhealthy way. Enmeshment is a family dynamic that lacks boundaries.

The parental roles and expectations are confused & perverted. Parents are overly and inappropriately reliant on their children for emotional support, and children are not allowed to become emotionally independent or separate from their parents. On the outside, it appears the unit is “close”. The truth is narcissistic families are enmeshed.

Nowhere in the Word does Yah command us to stay in abuse of any kind – and that includes biological relatives. As a Chain Breaker, you will be pulled out of destructive systems. Rejection is protection. What really confuses & confounds our inner child is the LACK of protection in narcissistic families. But see my dear, that’s where you must know what you are dealing with. A narcissistic family is NOT in place to protect YOU. The “family” is in place to PROTECT THE SYSTEM. The IMAGE. The dysfunction. The lies. The secrets; everything that is contrary to the Word of GOD.

Make no mistake, narcissists will use & misuse scripture & religion to keep you in check & in bondage to the system. Some bonds are only held together because of lies, dysfunction, trauma bonds, & soul ties. In narcissistic families, it is not the abuse that is the issue – it’s TALKING ABOUT THE ABUSE THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

We cannot pick our biological relatives but we can embrace our spiritual family. That’s the one that will last forever. 💜 Let’s break those chains!⛓️
