Narcissists & Stalking!

Narcissists love to install fear and control over their victims. One of their tools is monitoring, cyber stalking, and targeting individuals. Filing a restraining order against a narcissist is often a necessary and unavoidable step on the road to recovery.  Most narcissists have no regard for their victim’s safety. They certainly do not adhere to your requests for no contact. They oppose boundaries and trample them with an alarming sense of entitlement. YOU must protect YOU.

Here are a few signs of stalking:

1. Following the person: The stalker may follow the person to their home, workplace, or other locations where they go frequently.

2. Unwanted communication: The stalker may call, text, email, or leave messages on the person’s social media accounts, even if the person has asked them to stop.

3. Monitoring the person’s activities: The stalker may monitor the person’s movements and activities, either in person or through technology such as GPS tracking.

4. Sending unwanted gifts: The stalker may send gifts, letters, or other items to the person, even if the person has asked them to stop.

5. Threatening or intimidating behavior: The stalker may make threats or engage in other behavior that is intended to intimidate or frighten the person.

6. Showing up uninvited: The stalker may show up at the person’s home, workplace, or other locations uninvited, even if the person has asked them to stay away.

7. Spreading rumors or lies: The stalker may spread rumors or lies about the person, either to the person’s face or to others.

If you are experiencing any of these behaviors or suspect that someone may be stalking you, it is important to seek help and support from law enforcement or a trained professional. Remember that narcissistic systems protect the SYSTEM. Keep a detailed log and documentation.
